All About Booking Systems: A Guide to Your Salon Booking Software

There are so many different spa appointment booking software options! Schedulicity, Acuity, Vagaro - guys there are so many!! We thought we would save you some time by outlining the first three steps to get your booking automated.

Outline Your Needs

What do you need your booking system to do? Is it just for clients to book? Does it need to house multiple team members schedules? Do you want it to manage your email marketing? Finances?

Outlining exactly what you are looking for ahead of time will help you to not get as overwhelmed as when you are researching.

Outline Your Budget

How much are you willing to spend per month (and possibly per employee) to use a booking system? Some are free, others are a flat fee, some charge per person. Go in with a hard number in mind so you don’t overspend.

Connect to Your Website

Having a call to action on your website is SO important! This lets your potential customers know exactly what you are wanting them to do. Linking your booking system to your website with a tab or button titled Book Now will communicate what to do and how to do it.

Suggestions for Booking Systems

While there are a plethora of great options, here are some of our suggestions:
